Moonlight Care Services LLC began in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our founders, Ishmael Tagoe and Francis Lawrence, saw that people with developmental disabilities were being left behind. Before starting Moonlight, Ishmael spent years working as a direct support professional and supervisor, including roles with the Bowling Green Department of Health. Francis also brought years of experience as a direct support professional and manager. Their combined backgrounds and commitment to compassionate care inspired them to build an organization focused on people. Their goal was to deliver the reliable support and respect that every person deserves.

Our mission is to empower people with developmental disabilities to live vibrant and independent lives. We believe everyone has inherent worth and belongs in their community.

The heart of our work is built on respect, compassion and integrity. We listen to each person we serve and tailor our support to them. Our team cultivates an inclusive environment where people feel safe, valued and encouraged to pursue their goals.

We are dedicated to providing thoughtful assistance and care so that people can live with dignity and respect. We help individuals build independence, advocate for themselves and explore opportunities that enrich their lives.

From our home base in Toledo, Ohio, we serve people across the state. Our programs include personal and respite care, supported living, transportation and more. We also offer attendant services for adults with physical disabilities.

We provide some services in nearby areas of Pennsylvania and Indiana as well. Wherever we work, we remain committed to personalised care that supports independence and well being.

Our caregivers and support professionals are the heart of Moonlight Care Services LLC. Each person combines professional expertise with a warm, caring spirit. We provide ongoing training and support so our staff can meet complex needs with confidence and kindness.
